The new 2020 Escape is available with a choice of Hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid* with a 2.5L iVCT Atkinson Cycle hybrid engine. A hybrid engine may help?give?you more time on the road with?less?stops at the pump, without compromising performance. The powerful 1.5L EcoBoost and 2.0L EcoBoost with Auto Start-Stop Technology are the available gas engines.

Available AWD with AWD Disconnect

Designed to save fuel, available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Disconnect allows for the disconnection of the rear driveline when the system detects AWD is not needed. This allows only the front wheels to propel the vehicle, therefore reducing drag and the overall energy demands of the drivetrain. AWD is available on all Gas and Hybrid trim levels.
